Basic Military Qualification (BMQ)

Length

14 weeks (one week is dedicated to arrival procedures and the other 13 weeks to training).

Objectives

Provide common military knowledge necessary for the profession of arms and produce non-commissioned members that are able to operate in a small team.

• Communicate verbally and in writing
• Canadian domestic and international military relationships
• History, heritage, traditions of the profession of arms in Canada
• Canadian Forces well-being programs and initiatives
• Personal management and administrative procedures
